This homemade Cajun Seasoning recipe is the perfect blend of zesty, spicy, savory flavors that are sure to kick any dish up a delicious notch.
INGREDIENTS

- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- ½ tablespoon dried thyme
- ½ tablespoon red pepper flakes, optional – for more spice!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or spice jar until evenly combined.
- Use immediately, or store in a sealed container for up to 1 year.
Notes
- To make Cajun marinade with the seasoning mix: combine 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon hot sauce and 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine all of the ingredients. Use to marinate 2 pounds of chicken, seafood or beef.
